I love airports. I love the anticipation of what they mean is about to come and also the state of limbo they represent. When your in an airport both technically and metaphorically you are not really anywhere. They usually are on the outskirts of a major city, relatively clean, will always have some fast food stands and newspaper outlets. Not much distinguishes airports from each other besides the occasional lack of toilet paper in some of the more exotic airports. You can always expect to see something interesting in the security line, from a stressed out parent trying to herd 12 kids through the gates or an old couple still mystified by the advanced technology they are surrounded by. But maybe I am biased because I love to travel so much not much can get me down when I am on my way to a new place.
